Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. FAQ
The honest answers.
Is the BAC estimate accurate enough to drive on?
No — and don't. Beer Buddy's BAC is a calibrated estimate based on your weight, the drinks you've logged, and time elapsed. It is meant as a self-awareness tool, not a legal or medical instrument. If you've been drinking, do not drive. Period.
What's in the free plan?
Everything most casual users need: manual drink logging, BAC and calorie rings, daily and weekly summaries, and one AI photo recognition + one beer scan per week. No card required.
What does the AI drink photo do?
You point your camera at a bottle, can, or glass. Beer Buddy uses on-device hints plus our backend to identify what's in your hand and fill in ABV, serving size, and calories. You can always edit before saving.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, find Beer Buddy, and tap Cancel. Your access stays active until the end of the current billing period.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. From the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. We also accept written requests at support@deltametricsai.com. Full instructions are on our account deletion page.
Do you sell my drinking data?
No. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't profile you across apps. The only third parties involved are the standard infrastructure providers we need to run the service (Firebase, Cloud Run, Apple). Details are in our privacy policy.
Is there an Android version?
Yes, in beta. It's not on the Play Store yet — but you can email support@deltametricsai.com with the subject "Android" and we'll add you to the early-access list.
